Giving back is at the heart of our work. We partner with local nonprofits, donate products to community health initiatives, and volunteer together at events that support and strengthen our community.

Waste Management

We prioritize composting and recycling, diverting the vast majority of our materials from landfill. Currently, 95% of our waste is repurposed, recycled, or composted, reflecting our commitment to minimizing environmental impact.

Energy

Our facility is powered by 100% clean, renewable energy through Sonoma Clean Power’s Evergreen program, sourced locally from solar and geothermal energy — a reflection of our commitment to beauty in harmony with the earth.

Sourcing

We source our botanicals with intention and respect — choosing the highest quality ingredients and certified organic whenever available. We support ethical wildcrafting practices, harvesting only where ecosystems can thrive. When environmental or habitat concerns arise, we protect wild stands and avoid plants considered at risk. As proud members of United Plant Savers, we actively support their mission to preserve native plant species.

Packaging and Shipping

Every order leaves Galen’s Way with care —sent with UPS with Carbon Neutral shipping and packed with sustainability in mind. We reuse materials whenever possible, use compostable packing peanuts, and ensure every element is chosen for its recyclability and minimal impact.

Partnerships

The Botanical Bus We are proud to supply The Botanical Bus, a local nonprofit providing integrative health services to Latinx and Indigenous communities in Sonoma and Napa Counties. We regularly donate extracts and topicals to support their work.
Charlotte Maxwell Clinic Charlotte Maxwell Clinic also receives products from Galen’s Way to support the work they are doing to transform the lives of low-income women living with cancer in the San Francisco Bay area.
